This page is for use of members of the 28th Mass and “Fresh Fish” (new recruits) in requesting a loan of uniforms and equipment for 28th Mass events.
Company B has a stock of uniforms, equipment, muskets, and canvas available to both members and Fresh Fish. Note that not all sizes are available and usage is generally “First Come, First Served.” Members of the Company are expected, over time, to outfit themselves, so that the loaner kit can be mostly used by people entering the hobby. See the Company’s Uniform Standards page for advice and sources of both uniforms and equipment.
Individuals who borrow Company Loaner Gear are expected to care for it well, return it in good condition, and on-time (or when requested.) Individuals borrowing Company gear are responsible for its damage and loss.
